At our last meeting the Committee saw a need to clarify and refine our policy on boat trip prices and cancellations. This is necessary due to the impact on others from late withdrawals.

The last time to withdraw from a boat trip is at least 24 hours before the trip. If someone withdraws after this time, they will be obliged to pay the boat trip fee in full.

This is to avoid an unexpected change of trip price if the number of divers is 6 or below. It also provides a minimal time for waitlisted persons to make predive plans to come and take your place in the event that demand is higher than the number of available places.

Members withdrawing on the day can of course appeal to the Committee for either a refund or to use the fee for a future trip should the withdrawal reason be serious and unavoidable.
